Биография

В 1984 Симона Занини в сотрудничестве с продюсером Мартинелли выпустила песню Chance to desire в компании «Out Records», специализировавшейся на продукции в стиле итало-диско. Chance to desire стала первой и единственной работой RADIORAMA, сделанной без поддержки и аранжировки Мауро Фарины. С этой песни началась успешная карьера RADIORAMA. Сильный вокал Мауро и Симоны, мощь и энергия музыки, основанной на классической мелодике с мощным звучанием ударных и бэк-саунда, способствовали этому. Песня Aliens — одна из наиболее известных — достигла горячей десятки в европейских хит-парадах. В этот период группа начала гастролировать. Затем вышли Hey hey и Vampires, ставшие хитами. А с первым альбомом Desires and Vampires, выпущенным в 1986, дуэт вошел в чарты большинства европейских стран и стал всемирно известен.
Вторая долгоиграющая пластинка The 2nd album была выпущена в 1987 уже на собственной студии «Radiorama Records», выпускавшей впоследствии все записи группы до 1993 (затем Фарина создал «21st Century Records»). В том же году в некоторых странах вышел ремикс Chance to desire. Серию хитов продолжили песни So I know и Fire. Период 1986-87 был вершиной творчества группы.
Со сменой танцевальных ритмов стиль хай-энерджи (Hi-nrg) стал вытеснять классический итало-диско. The Legend (1988), третий альбом группы, звучал несколько иначе — ритм стал быстрее, главную вокальную партию исполнял женский голос. Лучшие песни с этого диска — Manitu и Abcd. В The Legend были и классические примеры прежнего звучания группы — Heartbreaker, Bye bye baby.
В 1989 был записан Bad boy you, затем — новый альбом Four years after, двойник The best of Radiorama, и Baciami — последняя вещь, сделанная командой Фарина—Кривеленте—Занини, выдержанная в духе italo disco 1980-х гг.
Фарина больше не пел, занимался только продюсированием в собственной фирме «Radiorama Records» и в «Asia Records». В 1993 создал студию грамзаписи «21st Century records», купленную впоследствии крупной музыкальной фирмой S.A.I.F.A.M, где Фарина стал продюсером. Но он не оставил карьеру вокалиста и в 1994 под псевдонимом Orlando выпустил новую песню Wasting Water.
В конце 1990-х гг. группа выпустила несколько новых песен, в том числе Beatiful Man и Cause The Night
